Key Requirements for Portugal Digital Nomad Visa

To qualify for the D8 visa, you must meet several specific criteria:

Income Requirements

  • Minimum monthly income: €3,040 (four times the Portuguese minimum wage)
  • Annual income: Approximately €36,480 or equivalent in foreign currency
  • Proof of income: Employment contracts, client agreements, or bank statements for the last 3 months

Remote Work Documentation

You must demonstrate that your work can be performed remotely and that you work for entities outside Portugal:
